Original design must be accompanies by a whole new idea or creation which comes to life. For the office lifestyle, much attention has been focused on “Mobile” and “Social" office concepts. For instance take the global field of computer engineers who are developing Web3.0 plans for the new program platform required for the mobile offices; furniture designers are designing new office furniture to meet the mobile needs. In China, Matsu Furniture is adapting to the new eco-friendly models; as the internationally renowned furniture brand sets a new era for the “mobile” and “social” office. Matsu incorporates these new philosophies when planning for the people engaged in the field of innovation and industrial design with the M-Office building, farewell to an era of “traditional office."
In fact, during the 80’s and 90’s in the US a person often served several roles; which required a high degree of freedom, and they liked to enjoy the quiet open space. For example Google's headquarters and the BBC headquarters also shared the open office with less boundaries. In Facebook’s headquarters, employees can be anywhere in the office: on the sofa, tables and chairs, this mobile office broke the traditional cubicle limitations and added comfort, so that the work become just a part of life. Mobile and social offices break the boundaries of upper and lower levels of management, stimulate inspiration and enthusiasm for the work of the staff, and improve work efficiency. This mobile and social office allows for space to create relationships and create a new style of work relationship.
Of course, this is not only limited to the creative industries, any other enterprise or department can benefit from open mobile and social offices. According to a market survey, the president of a company spends 70% to 80% of their time outside of the office. In addition, a company's sales staff, most of the time is running around for meetings outside of the company. Adding to that, the company's conference rooms are also very difficult to schedule full use every day, resulting in vacant office space which could be better used. From the psychological level, in terms of the past, everyone at the office thought they must have their own separate space, to feel full respected; however, through using this model, the office space utilization is not high. Previously, office equipment - especially the space occupied by the computer desktop and screen, but now with the increasing miniaturization of office equipment, the shared space for equipment is getting smaller and smaller. All of these technological changes encompassed with the new mobile and social offices create conditions which require higher space utilization.
As a leader in China’s furniture industry, Matsu Furniture believes that the era of the “mobile and social” office has come. This year, Matsu Furniture’s new design of the "M-Office" building, pioneered Matsu’s through the office concept advocated with the ideology of a Mobile Office with the new Co-working office lifestyle.
