Papilio, whose name is a Latin word meaning butterfly, is a lightweight and comfortable chair, with a cocoon-like back support reminiscent of fluttering butterflies. Take a seat and experience the real comfort. Hips, the lumbar region, vertebral column and shoulders are pleasantly supported by the ergonomic upholstery. The multi-functional configurations will satisfy all the needs in office.

Papilio collection includes chair and conference/meeting/relaxing chair, widely used in a variety of office spaces.

Papilio’s backrest stands up with an ergonomic arch to fully support and protect vertebral column, cervical vertebra, lumbar and shoulders. The mesh backrest enhances comfortableness and breathability.

Depth adjustable seat
The seat depth is adjustable to the user’s build and size.
Forward inclination

With papilio, it is possible to incline the complete upper part in a 3° angle so as to protect the vertebral column, cervical vertebra and shoulders, thus reducing any health risk related to sitting all day at work.

Adjustable lumbar support & adjustable armrests
The height and depth of lumbar support is individually adjustable, bringing floating seating experience while protecting your vertebral column.
This 3D armrests can be adjusted forward, backward and sideward in height, depth and width. Options: Fixed armrests

The headrest and coat hanger are optionally available
Headrest, the headrest can relieve the strain on the neck and protect your vertebral column.

Justus Kolberg 

Born in Schleswig in 1962, Justus Kolberg studied industrial design and realized many projects in collaboration with well-known enterprises. The brilliant design makes Justus Kolberg a rising star in the German industrial design field. His style features a unique, simple and natural style inspired by the modern architectural technology.

In 1999, Justus Kolberg started the co-operation with kusch+co. Since then, many classic products that are welcomed by the market has been developed. The Papilio series are the latest result of this co-operation, uniting ergonomics and design to form an extremely popular seating concept.
