On June 28, 2012, a day in this fresh early summer with lush green grass, the grand 16th anniversary celebration of MATSU was held in its headquarters. In the fragrance of grass and by the enthusiasm of summer, over 80 employees working at the headquarters in Minhang District, Shanghai merrily gathered to share the joyful atmosphere.
Ms Huang Hui, one of the founders of MATSU, made a speech on behalf of the president Mr. Cai Yanguo. She said: due to our ambitious dreams and noble missions, since the establishment of MATSU with unique characters and values we have fatefully confronted more hardships than others of the industry. Our efforts are even not understandable to the mind of some persons of the same trade. Determined to be a century-old enterprise, 16 years old MATSU is still quite young; however, 16 years also means a long course during which we have never slacked but made every effort to surpass ourselves!
During the event, Ms Chen Jingzi, a senior staff representative and the director of President Office of MATSU Group, shared with other attendees her 13 years of working experience in the company, including stories and hardships behind MATSU’s every accomplished project. Moreover, to encourage the staff members to express their thoughts and feelings, an essay writing competition for the 16th anniversary was held by the enterprise so that every employee can convey a wish to MATSU from their personal perspective and demonstrate the company’s juvenile vigor and colorful spectacles.
Established in Guangzhou in 1996, MATSU formally headquartered in Shanghai, a city of fashion in 1999.
