2009 marked the tenth anniversary of Alibaba Group, and over 6,000 employees were relocated to the new headquarters building located in Binjiang District, Hangzhou. The new office building was designed by Hassell studio and Alibaba selected high-end office furniture brand MATSU to create highly inspiring functional office space. MATSU integrated state-of-the-art office concepts and living philosophy, subverted the monotonous office functions and redefined the multiple functions of office space.

In order to reflect and maintain the order of Alibaba’s office space culture, MATSU successfully created office space with visual image highly corresponding to the corporate culture for Alibaba’s offices in different places by skillfully using the Matsu Lenco+ system workstations as the main products and the adaptive characteristics of Lenco+.
