“SPII” is located in the joint region of Yangpu government, co-built by Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology etc. Penta institute is anon-profit education and service organization as well as a non-traditional educational and entrepreneurship college born in modern era and free of barriers of fence.

“SPII” is connected by South building and North building. For functions, the north building is mainly for work and partially takes care of public leisure and conferences; the south building is mainly for conference holding.

The north building,old-fashioned but with great potential

It comes from the reconstruction of buildings of 60-70s. Terrazzo ground is retained so as to reserve historicvibe. LOFT suspended ceiling contributes to this industrial-style coworking maker space. Strong and weak current can’t go through the ground due to the utilization of terrazzo so wires can just be arranged via wall. Socurrent-related office furniture and equipment are set up near the walls. 

The south building,new but with classics

The south building is brand new and retainsindustrial style and terrazzo-like carpets.

Z-shape space partition perfectly matchesthe streamline of ceiling and lights, endowing the room with an experience of future life.

The south building accommodates everything,from large formal multi-media conference rooms to media-and-small discussion rooms.
