“Never End”, Blend the Color of Dreams into Office Lifestyle
MATSU Made its Appearance in CIFF Guangzhou and Dazzled China
July 27th~30th, 2020, the 45th China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou), the largest furniture fair in China (hereinafter referred as CIFF), was held in Guangzhou, as the first furniture fair resumed since the epidemic. MATSU was invited to the fair with the theme of “never end”. As the first brand show returning to the South China market, as well as the first stop of MATSU 2020 joint exhibition in three cities, it certainly will start a new trend in the product design field and create infinite possibilities for current and the future office furniture.
Colorful Future, Never End
As early as in 2003~2009, MATSU has participated in CIFF many times as “Mingli (Guangzhou) Furniture Co. LTD” and won Guangzhou exhibition award. After 11 years, MATSU returned with Unit & Morse workstation system and new leisure products. Designed by anySCALE, our booth stand creates a colorful space with a great sense of future to explore infinite possibilities for future office.
The booth is inspired by the unique marine elements and tropical atmosphere of coastal city. The pure and bright white booth forms a visual contrast and comparison with the seashell fan-shaped colorful archway of dream. Going through the fan-shaped archways, visitors’ attention will be focused on combine scenes of different series of MATSU furniture from different angles, offering them with an inspirational self-exploration experience of “finding seashell in the sea of arts”, which will be “never end”.
No Boundaries, No Ends
Main framework of the booth is created by MATSU BL series 100% sustainably recycled modular architectural system. The green concept is reflected not only on products, but also on our every exhibition. The four areas—co-working area, lounge, bar and executive office are connected and combined via fan-shaped archway with no boundaries, fully displaying MATSU’s pioneering spirit of endless pursuit for future office.
For MATSU, each product is more than just an industrial design, but a design work based on office lifestyle and space trend, as well as a series of furniture design in architectural space. In this exhibition, MATSU launched Unit & Morse and other seven brand new leisure and co-work series. We want to break the stereotypical regional pattern in traditional office, and combine office and life together, forming an integrated, collaborative, flexible and diversified new work pattern. In such an office environment where individual dreams are respected and teamwork and collaboration are emphasized, employees can keep their love for work and give their subjective initiative into full play to efficiently achieve team objectives in the harmonious collaborative atmosphere. Besides, the office environment built by MATSU not only satisfies pragmatic functional demands, but also insists on the extreme pursuit of art and architectural aesthetics, so that office space conveys the work spirit and brand style of excellence.
New product 1: Unit & Morse Workstation System
Unit & Morse: unit & unite, unit is not only a word means element or part, but also a part of the word unite, which means “unite” is combined with single “units”. To be separated and connected is to respect individuals. By integrating office demands of different individuals and different organizations in one workstation system, “unit” creates a harmonious and collaborative office space to achieve the balance between individual respect and collective objectives. “Unit” has striking Y-shape desk outline, and its mellow and interesting model makes the office space full of humanity. It also has fixed chamfer of 35-mm rounded corner. This detail also exists in storage space and Unit partition, creating visible connection between all elements of unit series. In addition, “Unit” also has adjustable desk to easily meet users’ demands from standing to sitting for health.
Diversified flexible combination:
l Open-plan workspace: modular open-plan workspace promotes communication and interaction and can flexibly adapt to different demands by serving as a temporary workplace, conference table or remaining in a fixed form. It can be connected with storage space and storage is taken as the connection center for communication. Morse multifunctional bridge can also be used to form collaborative workstation.
l Workspace with partition: Workspace with half-partition or fully private high-partition, Unit can easily create a private place for employees.
l Private workspace: unit private workspace creates an exclusive space for manager together with side storage cabinet and conference table.
Functional and decorative Morse: Morse is not only a cable bridge, but also has many added values, such as a desktop screen, message board, lighting, decoration and so on.
New product 2: “Collar”, more than just ceremony, Collar Sofa
Two-color Collar sofa, open but also private, creates a “workspace” tailored to both leisure and business office. Considerate side table is available to use together.
New product 3: “Hat” trick, Bowler Sofa
Bowler sofa, with flowing line and bowler shape, looks quite interesting as a whole. Metal four-leg chair, wooden four-leg chair and metal disk chair with different styles can be adapt to different office space.
New product 4: Fall into Marsh, fall into love
Marsh is designed in a mellow and fluffy shape, to relieve fatigue with a comfortable experience as in the clouds. Once fall into it, you will never want to be apart from it. The modular system enables it to extend with bench, for lobby, art hall and lounge, and other different scenes.
New product 5: Modern vintage, Plume Sofa
Plume, with simple and vintage model and pattern, can be adapted to any interior space and blends vintage into modern.
New product 6: Elegant as feather, Panache Sofa
Panache has elegant outline, high-quality material and meticulousness for each detail. Tubular sofa leg makes the edge unique and gives it an extraordinary temperament.
New product 7: Trendy & classic, expectation & courtesy, Prestige Sofa
The trendy and classic design gives Prestige unique distinguished temperament. Half-surrounded, it can form different combinations with the single sofa, double sofa, large and small tea table, offering VIP courtesies with modern open atmosphere. It is applicable to a high-end interior environment or reception area in manager’s office.
New product 8: Fluttering pulse, Pulse Sofa
Pulse salutes to the famous modern furniture classic, Barcelona Chair of Mies Van der Rohe. The heart-rhythm like chair leg break the silence of the space, increasing “pulse” and inspiring people.
Set sail at the origin
Guangdong, as the origin of the brand, means too much for MATSU since we set sail from here and grows up.
In 1996, MATSU was established in Guangzhou; in 2000, Guangzhou office lifestyle experience center moved to Zhongqiao Mansion; in 2003, MATSU made the first appearance in CIFF; in 2009, we was renamed MATSU Group and made a grand appearance in CIFF and won the exhibition award; in 2020, MATSU, taking the latest original design product Unit & Morse and new leisure series, returned to the South China market with our new office lifestyle experience center at Shenzhen and Zhongshan, as well as the sales team in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. We are recruiting franchisers throughout China with all efforts to enter the national market.
CIFF is the first step of MATSU’s strong return to the South China market; after that, on August 3rd, the brand new office experience center in Shenzhen will be opened. From August 20th to August 23rd, as the second stop of MATSU’s exhibition, Shenzhen International Furniture Fair will also start. Besides, MATSU will also hold exhibition in Shanghai as the third stop.
MATSU Shenzhen Experience Center, located by the sea and port, is built like a coverall container based on the power of dream that “everything is possible” and the subtropical climate in Shenzhen, a city with high-speed development. Moving the colorful coastal city scenes into the exhibition hall and changing into colorful glasses, MATSU create a collision with the overall industrial style, greatly showing the artistic experience of space and sparking inspirations for office. It not only presents the future office trend in the overall atmosphere, but also blends our history into it. In 2001, MATSU innovatively launched strategic cooperation with furniture brand in Europe and introduced excellent design to the start-up furniture industry in China, which also benefited from this port city. This is the deeper implication for the use of container and other coastal city elements in Shenzhen Experience Center.
